The author's purpose was that he always paddled his canoe through the waterweeds watching dragonflies, fish, but best of all he loved watching the frogs. The author tried to get a picture of the frog but at first the frog was to shy. He trained the frog to jump for crickets and caterpillars. As the frog was jumping the author slowly got out his camera equipment. It took the frog a few weeks but, he finally learned to ignore the camera. Then the author decided to create a book about his experience.
